# What your AI assistant can do in SocialMaker

Everything your AI assistant can do for you in SocialMaker (your automations, link in bio, carousels, files, bookings and menus), what it never does and how you stay in control.

With SocialMaker connected, your AI assistant does in your account the same things you'd do in the Studio, but you ask in plain words. This is what it can do in each part:

## Instagram and Facebook automations

- Create and change replies to comments, DMs and stories.
- Add your link in bio, your menu or catalog, the booking card, your products or a WhatsApp button with the message already typed.
- Ask for an email or phone number, add quick-reply buttons and follow-ups inside Instagram's 24-hour window.
- It creates them turned off: it only turns them on if you tell it to.

## Your link in bio

- See your page and show you how it looks on a phone.
- Choose the design that fits your business best among SocialMaker's 80.
- **Design one just for you**: any color, any font in the catalog, effects, animations and icons. It's saved in **My designs** and you see it before applying it.
- Change texts, buttons, photos and sections, and upload the photos you share in the chat.
- Give you the stats of visits and taps (on Pro and Max).

## Bookings

- See and change your hours and your services.
- Find free times and book an appointment for a client.
- Cancel an appointment (your client gets an email) and block time off.

## Menus, catalogs and portfolios

- Create them with your dishes, products or projects and their prices, in one or two languages.
- Choose the design, and also your own colors and fonts.
- Write the message that reaches your WhatsApp when people tap the button.
- Show you how it looks before publishing it, and publish it when you say so.

## Carousels and posts

- Design carousels from scratch with the whole editor: any font, color, photo from your library, stickers, effects and animations.
- Make continuous carousels: a photo or a text that runs from one slide into the next, the way it looks when you swipe on Instagram.
- Place its own animations as a video inside a slide.
- Look at them before handing them to you and fix what doesn't look right.
- They stay as **drafts** in your Studio: you review them, download them or schedule them. They don't use your SocialMaker AI credits.

## Photos and files

- Upload to your library what it creates in the chat and, for your photos, PDFs, videos and audio, give you a link to upload them in two taps.
- If it can't pass them directly, it gives you a link so you can upload them yourself in two taps, from your phone or computer.
- Use them where they belong: the PDF in an automation's delivery, the video in a carousel and the photo in your link in bio or your menu.

In the Studio you have the steps and the status of your connections.

## What it never does

- It doesn't read the comments or messages you receive.
- It doesn't message anyone who didn't write to you first: automations follow Instagram's and Facebook's rules.
- It doesn't post on your social networks on its own.
- It doesn't see your password or your Instagram, Facebook or Google keys.

## You stay in control

- You choose what it can see or change in each area when you connect it.
- It asks before deleting anything, cancelling an appointment or turning on an automation.
- We keep a history of the changes each app makes.
- You disconnect it anytime in **Settings → Connected apps**.

**Tip**

Ask the way you'd ask someone on your team: «when people comment PRICE, send them my catalog», «tell me which times are free», «make me a link in bio for my yoga studio». If you don't like something, tell it what to change.
