Switch Instagram to a professional account

Connect your Instagram
In Automations, tap “Connect Instagram”. Instagram's official window opens: sign in with your account and accept. You type your password on Instagram, never on SocialMaker.

Create your automation
Tap “New automation”, pick the post and type the word people will comment, like GUIDE. Then write the message they'll get by DM and paste your link.
Say the word in your video and in the caption: “Comment GUIDE and I'll DM it to you.”
Turn it on and test it
Tap “Activate automation”. Ask a friend to comment the word: within seconds they'll see your reply and get your message.
Your own account doesn't trigger the automation: always test with a different one.

Can you automate Instagram for free?

Do I need a professional Instagram account?

We remind you 7 days before. If you don't cancel, you stay on Pro and the first month is charged. If you cancel before day 30, you pay nothing and go back to the free plan: anything beyond what it includes is paused, not deleted.

Why can't I sign in with Google from Instagram?

Google doesn't allow signing in from the browser that opens inside Instagram. Tap the three dots at the top, choose to open in your browser (Safari or Chrome) and sign in with Google there. Or sign up with your email: it works just the same.
