The 7 best ManyChat alternatives in 2026: prices and which ones work in Spanish

We compared 7 ManyChat alternatives for Instagram comments and DMs: what they really cost, which charge per contact and which work in Spanish.

A Puerto Rican entrepreneur in her late twenties, with long braids, looks at her phone at her kitchen table next to an open laptop, a notebook with prices written down, a calculator and trays of earrings

On March 2, 2026, ManyChat changed the way it charges new accounts: you pay for every person who interacts with you during the month (ManyChat). And its free plan, for everyone, went from 1,000 contacts in total to 25 active contacts a month (ManyChat). For a small business, that has a strange effect: the better your post does, the more you pay.

If you're looking for another option, here are the 7 best, with prices checked on October 13, 2026: what they cost, which ones charge for every person who messages you and which ones work in Spanish. We'll start with ours, and tell you why.

What changed at ManyChat, and why so many people are looking for another option

ManyChat calls every person who interacts with your account through ManyChat during the billing month an active contact: they message you, comment on your post or reply to a story. Each person counts once a month, even if they send you a hundred messages, and the count starts over the next month (ManyChat). Every plan includes a set number of them, and each extra person is charged on top:

ManyChat planPrice, paid monthly
Free25 active contacts a month and ManyChat branding on the first message
Essential$17 a month with 250 contacts; each extra contact, $0.10
Pro$39 a month with 2,500 contacts; each extra contact, $0.05
Business$99 a month with 7,500 contacts; each extra contact, $0.025
Advanced$199 a month with 25,000 contacts; each extra contact, $0.004

Paying yearly brings each plan down 18% to 30% (Pro comes to $29 a month, billed yearly), but the per-person charge is still there (ManyChat pricing, October 9, 2026; Pro plan). Here's an example: if a reel takes off and 5,000 people comment or message you in one month, on Pro you'd pay 39 + 2,500 × 0.05 = $164, and the cheapest plan for that many people would be Business, at $99.

The frustration isn't new. “I'm on the PRO trial and I was planning to start at $15 a month, but they want to charge me $25 right away because I have more than 500 contacts” (translated from Spanish), one user wrote in the ManyChat community in 2024, under the old pricing. And another, in 2025: “I got the alert that they'll charge me $25 (…). I was counting on paying $15” (translated from Spanish), also in the ManyChat community.

How we chose these alternatives

  • They reply to comments with a private message. It's what people use ManyChat for the most: someone comments a word and gets your link by DM.
  • They connect to Instagram the official way. No apps that ask for your password.
  • Their prices are public. No sales call just to find out what it costs.
  • A small business can use them on its own, without a tech team.
  • Being in Spanish counts, because many of them aren't.

1. SocialMaker: flat price and all in one

SocialMaker is the tool we build, so we'll be upfront about why it's first on the list: you pay the same every month whether a thousand or ten thousand people message you, it works in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, for businesses that sell on Instagram and Facebook, and the same account gives you your link in bio, your appointment calendar and your menus or catalogs.

Price: free plan, no card needed, with one active automation (a reply and a message with your link), your link in bio, one booking service and one menu. Starter costs $11 a month with 20 active automations and automatic follow-ups; Pro, $24 with 100 automations and up to 3 accounts; Max, $39 with unlimited automations. None of them charge per contact: see SocialMaker pricing.

Who it's for: businesses and creators who sell on Instagram and Facebook, especially in Spanish, and want to know exactly what they'll pay each month. If you're coming from ManyChat, the detailed comparison with ManyChat goes through everything point by point.

2. Chatfuel

Chatfuel is a chatbot builder for Instagram and Facebook that has been around since 2015. It replies to comments on posts and reels with a private message, and its website and help center are in Spanish. Price: $20 a month, or $18 paid yearly, with unlimited active contacts (Chatfuel).

Worth knowing: there's no permanent free plan, only a trial, and it costs almost twice as much as SocialMaker's Starter. It only covers chatbots: you'd have to pay separately for a link in bio and appointment booking.

3. SendPulse

SendPulse is a large marketing platform with its dashboard in Spanish. Its Instagram chatbots start when someone comments on your post (SendPulse). Price: free up to 500 subscribers; the Pro plan starts at $12 a month and goes up with your subscribers: $22 for 2,000, $48 for 5,000 and $74 for 10,000 (SendPulse).

Worth knowing: it charges by number of subscribers, like ManyChat: it's cheaper, but it still goes up every time you grow. It's also a big platform with lots of sections, so it has more steps and menus than you need just to reply to comments.

4. CreatorFlow

CreatorFlow is a tool from Spain focused on replying to Instagram comments with a private message. Its website and help center are in Spanish. Price: free plan with 500 messages a month; Pro costs $15 a month ($12 paid yearly) with 5,000 messages a month (CreatorFlow).

Worth knowing: it's Instagram only, and when you hit the message limit, your automations pause until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade: right when a post is doing well.

5. Kommo

Kommo (formerly amoCRM) is a sales CRM built around messaging, in Spanish, with a bot that can start a private conversation when someone comments on Instagram. Price: $25 per user a month, billed for 6 months at a time ($150 per person on your team); there's no month-to-month option (Kommo).

Worth knowing: it's made for sales teams, the cost goes up with every person who uses it and you pay six months up front. For a small business that wants to reply to comments, it's far more than it needs.

6. LinkDM

LinkDM replies to Instagram comments with a private message and also has replies for Facebook. Price: free plan with 1,000 messages a month and its branding; Pro costs $19 a month with 25,000 messages (LinkDM).

Worth knowing: its website is English only, and according to its pricing page, the public reply to the comment is only on the paid plan.

7. Inrō

Inrō is an Instagram-only tool that replies to comments with a private message. Price: free plan with 100 active contacts a month; Pro starts at €12.99 a month for up to 500 contacts and goes up in tiers: €19.99 for up to 1,000 and €64.99 for between 3,001 and 4,000 (Inrō).

Worth knowing: it charges per active contact, just like ManyChat, its prices are in euros and the website is English only.

Which one is right for you?

Before you decide, ask yourself these questions. They're the ones that save the most money and time:

  • How much would you pay in your best month? If the tool charges per contact or per subscriber, do the math for the day a reel goes viral, not for a slow month.
  • Is it really in Spanish? Not just the website: the tool and the help center too.
  • Does it work for both Instagram and Facebook? Several of them are Instagram only.
  • What else will you pay for separately? Link in bio, appointment booking, a menu or a catalog: with other tools, they're usually one more subscription.
  • Can you try it for free with your real customers?

If you sell on social media and want to reply fast without your bill going up every time things go well, SocialMaker does all of that for a flat price, and you can start on the free plan.

How to switch from ManyChat to SocialMaker

  1. Create your free account

No card needed. If you want to try the Pro plan, you can start 30 days free until December 31, 2026: you add your card, and if you cancel before the 30 days are up, you aren't charged.

  2. Connect your Instagram

In Automations, tap Connect my Instagram and sign in through Instagram's official window. If you also use Facebook, connect your Page.

  3. Set up your automation

Tap New automation, pick a template or Start from scratch, then choose Comment on a post. Type the keyword, the public replies and the message with your link.

  4. Turn off the ManyChat one on that post

Instagram only allows one private message per comment: if both reply to the same comment, one tool's message won't go through and the person may see two public replies.

  5. Test it

Comment the keyword from another account and check that both the reply and the message arrive. If you want ideas, Instagram auto-reply messages has 40 examples you can copy.

What's the best free alternative to ManyChat?

SocialMaker has a free plan with no card needed that includes one active automation, your link in bio, one booking service and one menu. If you need more automations later, Starter costs $11 a month and never charges per contact.

How much does ManyChat cost in 2026?

Paid monthly, the Essential plan costs $17 with 250 active contacts, Pro costs $39 with 2,500 and Business costs $99 with 7,500. Each extra contact is charged on top, and the free plan includes 25 active contacts a month.

What is an active contact in ManyChat?

It's every person who interacts with your account through ManyChat during the billing month: they message you, comment on a post or reply to a story. Each person counts once a month, and the count starts over the next month.

Can I use two tools at the same time?

Yes, but not on the same post: Instagram only allows one private message per comment, so if both reply to the same comment, one of them fails and the person may see two public replies.

Is it safe to connect my Instagram to another tool?

Yes, if the connection is official: you sign in through the Instagram or Facebook window and never type your password into the tool. SocialMaker is a Meta Tech Provider and works this way. Be wary of apps that ask for your username and password.

Can automatic replies get me blocked?

Using an official tool isn't a reason to get blocked, but it's a good idea to vary your public replies so they're not always the same sentence. We explain it in how to avoid getting blocked for repeating the same comment.

ManyChat is no longer the only option, or the cheapest, for a small business. If you want to reply instantly, in your language and for a price that doesn't change when things go well, start automating Instagram for free with SocialMaker.
